London Christmas Lights - Location videography

You might think all my work is shot in the studio and a large portion is however i also photograph on location and this weeks blog is something different from the normal studio blog as I was asked to create both video and still photography for the company that make the Christmas lights on regent street in London. The lights on regent street are some of the best in London and probably the country. The Christmas lights are one of the most photographed in the UK so it was important that i produced a nice shot and created video that really showed off the high quality display of the lights. 

The turning on of the lights hosted by heart fm and accompanied by a few celebrities was rather underwhelming, the lights however looked fantastic and the Christmas songs and fireworks certainly made it into an event. 

The breif was to show the lights at both dusk and at night highlighting the change of colour between the different times of day

The second location was in Haslemere in surrey, above are a few more shots. The brief was the same as in London regent street, to capture both video and stills close up and at a distance showing the high street adorned with this years Christmas lights 2016.
